Domi Louna is 22 years old and left her native France at the age of 17 to study at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston on a scholarship. Her partner James Dennis Beck, JD for short, was born in Dallas in 2003, taught himself to play the drums at an early age and has been supported since he was 14 by the well-known US drummer Robert "Sput" Searight, who has worked with acts such as Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake and Snarky Puppy. Since 2018, Domi & JD Beck have been making jazz together as a duo that is as wild and colorful as their look. They quickly attracted attention for both their sound and style. First on various online portals, where their clips are viewed millions of times, but soon beyond. The duo's first album "Not Tight" is now available and fulfills all expectations with 15 songs. Their jazz is futuristic, but clearly knows its roots. Domi & JD Beck's love of experimentation is clearly noticeable, without ever getting out of hand or aimless.
